Last week the couple announced their plans to marry in an article in The State Journal-Register, saying they had asked Burger King the company for permission to use their logo on wedding favours, but had received no reply.
After the wedding announcement began to circulate on Twitter, Burger King the company finally got wind of Burger-King the couple – and offered not only their logo but also to pay for their entire wedding.
When Burger King Corporation heard about the Burger-King couple, we felt an overwhelming urge to celebrate their upcoming marriage. It felt like fate: they found each other and their story found us.
“All we ask is in return is that they live happily ever after,” Burger King continued.
